Using Ad-Aware to clean out trojans.
Launch your Ad-Aware icon
If you get the following screen
Click OK so the program can download the latest definitions before scanning.
Now, just click START buutton and let system start scanning.
the following OPTIONS will be sufficient for scan
When the scan is complete, the following screen will appear, click the NEXT button.
In the result screen, determine what is bad and good by the symbols. For all the bad items, the ones in yellow and red, place a check mark in the
boxes to the left of each item. do this for each of the other tabs (Critical Objects, Negligible Objects)Â Then click the NEXT button.
Hopefully doing this once a week will help rid your system of annoying trojans and keep your system at optimal performance.
